24 hours my tushy!

It's friday night and I'm blogging...no, no, I don't lead a boring life at all! What are you trying to say?? I live in Vegas after all...the 24 hour city!! Where they serve food until...10pm!! 10pm?? Yeah, that's right 10 frickin o'clock at night.
We were at Green Valley Ranch to visit their steakhouse as we'd heard they had a piano bar. And so they did...complete with piano player (he was good too!). We sat at a lovely marble table, lit from within, glowing with light, ordered fancy-schmancy drinks, listened to the piano player crooned, and got ready to settle in for a few hours. That is until we found out we couldn't get food at our table. Now, you could get food 5 feet away from us at the bar, and you could get food 5 feet to the other side of us in the booths, but apparently you couldn't get food at our table. We were quite puzzled, but figured, okay, we'll order food at the bar and bring it back over, right? That is until the waiter said, "Well folks, you might want to hurry up, it's already 9:45 and we stop serving food at 10." Excuse me? You'll serve people crazy strong drinks, but nothing to mitigate their effects with? A little bread perhaps...a cracker...a crouton? To make matters worse, the desert station was visible through just past us where we could watch the pastry chef concoct various and sundry delights as she grooved to the piano player's melodies. She must have caught us staring longingly, as she kept smiling at us...either that or she thought B was cute ;)
So we finished our drinks and heading across the casino to their Irish pub, which ALSO stopped serving food at 10pm. Apparently the only food served 24 hours in our part of Vegas was Fatburger.
They had good fries.
